Hope Rises as Experts Confirm Rehabilitation of Burned Building in Campanar

In a ray of hope for the residents of the housing complex located at Poeta Rafael Alberti street no. 2 in València, which was devastated by a fire last February resulting in ten fatalities, the destruction of 138 apartments, and leaving hundreds homeless, a recent expert report commissioned by the property owners has indicated that the building can indeed be rehabilitated.

The Association of Affected Property Owners of the burned building in the Campanar neighborhood of València (Aproicam) has officially confirmed this positive development through a post on their social media profiles. The president of the community, Fran Fernández, has informed the press that the report, commissioned by the owners, is favorable and asserts that the structure can be restored to its former state.

“This is the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s the best news we could have hoped for. Now more than ever, we need your help. We are going to rehabilitate 138 homes and every bit of assistance counts,” expressed the homeowners.

In April, homeowners of the building established the Aproicam association with the primary goal of rebuilding the apartment blocks and returning to their homes. From the outset, the collective had unwavering faith that the building could be reconstructed, and now, with the expert confirmation, their hopes have been given a significant boost.

As the community rallies together to support the rehabilitation efforts, the future looks brighter for the residents of the Campanar neighborhood in València.
