Recently, former Supernatural star Jared Padalecki expressed his excitement about the possibility of joining a superhero show produced by his former boss, Eric Kripke. With the cancellation of Walker, the show that Padalecki starred in and produced for four seasons, a new opportunity has opened up for him to collaborate with Kripke once again.
In a recent interview with Deadline, Padalecki confirmed that he is eager to work on a project with Kripke and mentioned that they had already discussed a potential role for him. With Walker now behind him, Padalecki emphasized his desire to work on projects that he truly cares about and with people who matter to him. He stated, “Obviously, Eric and I are forever connected.” While the filming for the final season of Supernatural may not begin until next year, Padalecki assured that he would be ready whenever Kripke reaches out to him.
Supernatural has already featured appearances from other cast members, such as Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Ackles appeared as a soldier in a previous season and made a cameo in the spin-off series, Generations V. This season, Jeffrey Dean Morgan will portray Kessler, a character determined to defeat the Supes. With potential spin-offs in the works, there may be more opportunities for the Supernatural cast to appear in new shows. Who knows, maybe Jake Abel will join the journey as well!
