A woman in Cordoba was attacked by two armed thieves on a motorcycle as she was leaving her house to go to work. The incident was captured on a security camera, showing the victim trying to resist and run away to avoid being robbed. The robbery took place on the morning of Friday, June 14th, around 6:20 am on Sucre Street at 2100.
The victim, Cecilia, shared her terrifying experience, stating that one of the thieves got off the motorcycle and demanded her cellphone at gunpoint. She tried to fight back and was grabbed by her purse. When she resisted, the thief fired a shot into the air to intimidate her. Cecilia recounted, «I’m still in shock. This morning when I was leaving my building, a motorcycle with two people turned the corner. One of them got off and kept yelling at me to give him my cellphone at gunpoint. I tried to go back, and he grabbed my purse. I resisted a little, and he fired a shot. That’s when I opened my hands, and they left.»
After the incident, Cecilia contacted the police through a WhatsApp group she shares with her neighbors, who have also experienced similar situations in the area. She expressed her gratitude for being alive and recounted the items stolen from her, including her wallet, money, work cellphone, and glasses. She emphasized the emotional and financial toll of the robbery, saying, «It’s a real problem because everything is money. One works hard to have everything they have.»
