BOOX has unveiled its new line of Android tablets designed for reading, including two eInk devices that are the most compact and lightweight the brand has released so far. With the launch of the Go Color 7 and the Go 10.3″, BOOX is expanding its product range to offer solutions for both readers and creatives. These devices promise to democratize access to color eInk technology and provide advanced tools for demanding users.

The Go Color 7 is presented as an eReader that aims to make the high refresh eInk screen of BOOX accessible to a wider audience. This device features a seven-inch screen, making it ideal for those looking for a compact and portable reader. One of the standout features of the Go Color 7 is its Kaleido 3 color eInk screen, which offers a reading experience similar to paper but with the advantage of displaying images and graphics in color. This is particularly useful for reading comics, magazines, and illustrated books. Additionally, its high refresh rate allows for smoother navigation and better interaction with content.

In terms of software, both models run on Android 12, customized with a proprietary interface designed to offer a better user experience on eInk devices. Despite its small size, it is not the most compact device from the brand. That title still belongs to the BOOX Palma, which recently entered the Spanish market.

On the other hand, the Go 10.3″ is designed for those who need more than just a simple eReader. With a 10.3-inch screen, this device is ideal for reading, drawing, sketching, and taking notes. Its ultra-thin design makes it easy to carry, making it a versatile tool for creatives on the go. The Go 10.3″ also features a high-resolution eInk screen, ensuring excellent image quality and a natural writing experience. It is also compatible with a stylus, allowing users to make precise and detailed annotations. This combination of features makes it especially useful for designers, architects, and any professional in need of a digital tool to bring their ideas to life.

Both devices will be available starting on Thursday, June 6th. The Go Color 7 will be priced at 199 euros, while the Go 10.3″ will retail for 349 euros. These prices make the new BOOX products an attractive option for both readers and creatives looking for high-quality devices at a reasonable price. They can be purchased through the brand’s official online store and will soon be available through other distribution channels.
